How to draw a sketch model. In the Open dialog box that appears navigate to the SketchUp model file select it and click Open. The SketchUp Preferences dialog box appears. Locating the primary light source will determine where you sketch the lightest and where you sketch.
From here simply right-click on the SketchUp window and select Scenes. Select File Insert from the menu bar. After you insert a SketchUp model into a LayOut document its a SketchUp model entity.
Then right-click and go to Scale 1mm50mm. Put the sketch on a layer. In the Miscellaneous area of the Drawing panel select the Display cross hairs checkbox.
Pay attention to these things. First the stick approach with little dots to locate the elbows the ankles the shoulders and the knees. Draw the features in using straight lines.
When you select the model entity in the document area you see the same blue selection border that appears around other. Find an image of something you like or look for an object or person around you to draw. Carried a little further the drawing is blocked out.
In the browser click to expand the view and display the components in the view. Now click on the button and create a scene called PLAN. Select the Drawing item on the left.
